This is their best album!

From: David Date: August 1, 2002 at 1:06
I respect your opinon to Purrfect Kat, I have never heard Evenrude. Have you heard this album Purrfect Kat? Another band that comes to mind is Live Tongue, but better song writing.

From: Purrfect Kat Date: August 1, 2002 at 1:16
yes I have this cd too...Swedish Erotica played all Hard Rock in 1989 and they were Huge in Europe but in 1995 they changed their music style to a more Alternative/Metal style which basically sank their battleship....In all honesty their 2 cds sound nothing alike and I reccomend their Self Titled cd over this one if you like Hard Rock but if you are looking for some Alternative metal then I would say Blindmans Justice would be the one then..There are maybe 2 songs I like on this cd and thats it.

From: David Date: August 1, 2002 at 1:23
Now I disagree totally with that!, ALTERNATIVE my arse, this is one of the best hard rock albums ever!

From: Purrfect Kat Date: August 1, 2002 at 1:34
I am sorry but I thought you knew that Alternative rock/metal took over in the 90's and this is why bands like Def Leppard changed their style of music.

From: David Date: August 1, 2002 at 1:44
Yes, Def Leppard, Wildside, Ratt and bands like Von Groove all moved on with time, but I stress Swedish Erotica didn't. Anyway that's my opinon and that's yours and your welcome to it, that's why this web-site is so good because everyone has their own say. I don't want to fight with you, I'd rather speak to you about the music we love because where I come from(Australia) know-one listens to this kind of music. So have you heard the band Rawchild?

From: David Date: August 1, 2002 at 1:51
Perrfect Kat, You sound like you know a lot about this kind of music. Do you know what Robert Mason (Lynch Mob, Silent Witness) is doing with himself these days and do you know what the members of Slam St. Joan and Raquel have done after there records?

From: TIM Date: August 1, 2002 at 8:23
I think Robert Mason is in a new band but I can't remember the name of it.

From: David Date: August 3, 2002 at 3:30
TIM, do you know if Mason's new band are in the same style as Lynch Mob or Silent Witness?

From: Hurra Date: August 6, 2002 at 9:20
Swedish Erotica huge in Europe?... Don`t think so

From: Federico Date: August 6, 2002 at 9:38
I have downloaded just one song from this(blind man justice) I like it. Is it true that Mats Leven(Malmsteen,Dogface,Treat) has been the singer of this band for a while? SHOulder of Giant should be the name of the new band of Rob Mason, I'm not sure of it and I don't know how they sound. Check out COLD SWEAT, they really sound like Lynch mob, Dokken and S.Wittness.

From: TIM Date: August 7, 2002 at 8:47
David, I can't remember about Robert. I read an article about him recently, but I don't remember the site. I'll try and find it again.

From: M. Allen Date: August 10, 2002 at 13:38
SWEDISH EROTICA changed singers for this sophomore CD and beefed up their sound, but don't think this is alternative or grunge (as Purrrfect, with all due respect, would have you believe). This is ripping, hard-edged melodic metal with plenty of hooks, in-your-face choruses, and cool backing vocals. If you like JESTER: "Digitalia," SKID ROW: "Slave to the Grind," and MILLION: "Electric," then you should enjoy this powerhouse release. Anyone who says different isn't doing this disc justice.

From: David Date: August 11, 2002 at 9:27
Was it any of you guys who got the Y-Rawchild cd?

From: David Date: September 4, 2002 at 1:24
Sorry everyone, but I'm still trying to get over what Purrfect Kat said about this album (Alternative). This album is in the top ten albums on this site!!

From: TIM Date: September 4, 2002 at 8:58
I've got the Y-Rawchild cd David, what did you want to know?

From: David Date: September 4, 2002 at 22:13
I just wanted a review TIM.

From: TIM Date: September 4, 2002 at 23:09
Go to the Y section and look under Y and I'll elaborate there. I thought you had this one?

From: TIM Date: October 22, 2002 at 23:53
To me, this is a mixture of Love/Hate's "Let's Rumble" and Skid Row's "Slave To The Grind." Overall it rocks, but I don't think Kat was imagining things. One of the tracks sounds like Candlebox meets Oasis. The intro on one sounds like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. A few tracks show definate Alice In Chains influence.

From: dckiss Date: June 4, 2004 at 20:59
I recently discovered this band from a good friend of mine and it has been in my rotation for about 6 weeks, which is saying something considering how often I am switchin out tunes. In my opionion this is there best album of the 2. I love the hard driving beat on White Sister. Not a great singer, but I can't imagine this band with out him. Its kinda like Steven Pearcy and Ratt he just fits well with the music.

From: TIM (2) Date: September 1, 2004 at 4:37
I've always hated this and it remains barely played and collecting dust in my collection. Why on earth would you change an awesome vocalist like Leven for this tuneless screamer? I know a lot of people really rate this, but it was too radical a departure for me to get near. That said, "Sweetest of Sins" is an awesome ballad, despite the horrific vocals, and I'll occasionally dig this out for that track. There are some pretty decent riffs throughout this too, but overall it's disappointing. 3/10.

From: Geoff Date: September 1, 2004 at 7:38
Wow, amazed to see so few good reviews for this one. Be certain not to expect alternate or grunge music here, that I must say. This is heavy rock to a tee.'White sister' is a blistering opener and a killer melodic hard rock track, the title track is killer,'King of pain' is heavy brilliance,'Back in the saddle' is cool but it is the 'Sweetest of sins' that truly steals this show.An absolutely sensational song. Overall,a good, aggressive hard rock album. Buy if you like the debut Spread Eagle disc

From: Great Dane Date: September 9, 2004 at 16:46
Geoff youre totally right here. This is an awesome cd.

From: Grim wulf Date: November 15, 2004 at 14:58
Hey David!! Robert Mason went on to join a band called "Silent Witness", which, imo rawk hard!! Cross between early jovi n lynch mob..worht checking out if you like that kinda sound!!

From: hair metal again Date: March 21, 2012 at 15:38
