The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Nazareth CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Nazareth are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

By 1989, nearly a whole generation passed since Nazareth genesized. Yet, despite their graybeard status within the rock world, they were still hammering out albums. Released three years after Cinema, seemingly an eon for Naz release standards, Snakes & ladders is a tale of two sides. Side one, Snakes, is certainly more quirky & eclectic. Surprizingly enough, 4 tracks from the Ladders side stack up to Naz rocking standards of old. In particular, "See You, See Me", "Back to School", "Girls", & "Donna get off that Crack" all offer McCafferty's trademark growl. Also, there are three cover tunes. Among them, Neil Young's "Helpless", may be the most noteable addition of the lot but certainly not memorable otherwise. Overall, though this album lacks any particular style, Snakes & Ladders is still a formidable addition to their catalogue. On a band note, it would be the last album with original guitarist Manny Charlton.
