| Here's an interesting pop/rock band from Boston, who released a couple of albums during the eighties. Face To Face were a very stylish female fronted band, with hints of commercial pop and AOR, somewhere in the vicinity of Toronto and Patty Smyth And Scandal. In vocalist Laurie Sargent they have a singer who can mix it up: smooth one minute and slightly rough-house the next. A good contrast, as can be heard throughout the course of the album.

| This is one of the great 'missing' bands of all times. Full of talent, great songs, great production and a killer live show. Something happened. I don't know. Their first two recordings make my Desert Island Discs' list all the time.

| This ain't an aor band.Ok they do have this and that but never in the aor genre.the album is average(not bad,not good)suitable for new wave listeners.As Rycheage said a mixture of Scandal and perhaps Patty Smith(however i consider Patty doesn't have anything to do here).10-9-8 was their hit,wasn't it?.

Listening to this once again...at the end is quite a pretty cool release with some good songs in it(basically in the Adult Pop/New Wave territory)...yeah put Scandal,Quaterflash,The Motels,Blondie and a bit of Pat Benatar and you get FTF  ..."Pictures Of You" is my fave song followed by "Under The Gun"...tracks 3(AORish)& 5 are also appealing ones...85/100
