The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Vain CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Vain are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Another strong effort. Hollow and Spun, Dee Dee, Quick Step to Love, and Voyeurism are my personal favorites.

This is a great album. I am sorry I had to download it from WinMx but I could not find it anywhere to purchase. Lately it seems like finding good music is like going on a treasure hunt.

This album just drips sex! Great sleazy, yet classy, songs. Not quite as good as 'No Respect' but still very good. Good production and good songs. I particularly like 'Powder Blue '.

From: Glen Odin Date: May 15, 2004 at 5:02
Fuckin great cd. More mellow than the debut and All Those Strangers but quality songwriting especially tracks like Hollow And Spun and Voyeurism simply AWESOME!

From: Geoff Date: August 25, 2004 at 9:09
Probably my least favourite Vain release, but when you look at the rest of them that is as much a compliment as anything else. 'Dee Dee' is my favourite of this CD, but either way there is still nothing I'd ever skip here. Just another great collection of Vain songs. I love this CD, love the band.

From: beth1979 Date: October 7, 2005 at 3:03
I only like Holdin' On, the rest ain't as good as they used to be.

From: poser forever Date: June 13, 2009 at 11:11
A Masterpiece! A great release by the mighty Vain which sould have been huge with mega songs like ''holdin'on'' and ''quick step to love''.The most mature and complete album by Davy and co.

From: CC Date: September 18, 2009 at 9:19
Bought this album, hated it, got rid of it. The only other Vain album I ever owned was No respect, which is a perfect example of sleaze glam, but Fade was just shite of the highest order. Wishy washy 70s throwback cack, with no balls or attitude!

From: hair metal again Date: April 3, 2013 at 0:36
excellent release by VAIN back in 95 and this one is more rockin and groovy and has no hard edged riffs !the vibe is very strong and Davy s vocals are outstanding and the lines are in their unique way!"shooting star","powder blue" and "can t get back " are my favs!VAIN is a band with strong personality and i loved them from day 1!

From: 123charpenay Date: June 19, 2013 at 13:06
this album is absoluty not for me.weird kind of hard rock, weird singer s voice.definitively not my cup of tea.

From: Metalgreg Date: June 24, 2013 at 16:39
Hi, does this CD come with liner notes?...I picked this up from ebay the other day...the cover artwork is one sheet, with a picture of Davy on the other side..no lyrics/liner notes at all...just wondering if that's the way it's supposed to be, cheers!
