| I know somebody will harp on the production, but this is way better than his studio albums in my book. None of Ozzy's other axemen were ever able to duplicate the sound on these songs even though Zakk came the closest. My fav's off of this one are "Flying High Again" and "No Bone Movies." "FHA" on the studio album is held back too much and quite boring.

| randy rhoads is so awesome on this cd.ozzys band at its best.i can put this cd on and wish i was there to see randy shred that polkadot flying v.one of the best metal cds of all time.

| ozzy sounds great on this live performance and randys playing is just wow, who knows how good randy would have become if he was still around, randy deserves legend status and ozzy is a living legend

| Phenomenal guitarist...as its all been said a million x's before.Classic live stuff! The only gripe ive ever had about Tribute was that its a little too amemic of the 'Diary' material.'Little Dolls','S.A.T.O.' & 'Over The Mountain' would've been great to hear on this.

| Metal T, I agree that I would have loved to heard the rarer tracks from DOAM on Tribute - specifically Over The Mountain, Little Dolls and SATO. There is a bootleg of the May 1981 Cleveland, OH concert (the bulk of where this recording is from) out there. I have it on tape somewheres. On the bootleg, when Ozzy introduces Believer he says something to the effect of "We're gonna do a number for you now off our forthcoming album and the album is called Diary Of A Madman, we're gonna try to do a number for you now, a number called Believer". So this song as well as Flying High Again were performed live but not yet released...........................Tribute is my alltime favorite live album, and the reason I got into heavy metal in May 1987 when I was 13 years old. RIP Randy.

| On another note, I'm trying to find out what the openening theme music is to this album. I found it on the Net years and years ago but cannot find it again. It has something to do with Russia.... the Russian national anthem, or a symphonic orchestra?! I can't remember. Can anyone help?

| this is an ok live recording which captivates the energy of an ozzy live show.for me this was not necessary to happen as a tribute to randy.i prefer the newer live album of ozzy and i think that his next guitar players are much better thab randy.anyway this is an enjoyable release (have it in 2 vinyl records) for everyone
