While this band probably won't blow you away, neither will it make you want to gouge out your eardrums with a sharp, pointed rock. The band takes elements of Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, & Baron and mixes them all together to come up with a melodic hard rock recipe that is brimming with clean vocals, big hooks, and sing-along choruses. It may not be the favorite thing in your collection, but it's unlikely that you'll turn your nose up at it either...

I agree with M. Allen. It wonīt blow you away but itīs worth buying. Points out for the first tune.

From: Geoff Date: September 19, 2004 at 23:50
Geoff agrees with M.Allen too. I was very surprised with this. To me, the band name suggested it might be some grunge sort of band or something, but I cannot tell you how pleasantly surprised I was. As noted, it's not mind blowing, but the crisp vocal melodies, the catchy, melodic tunes and overall very polished feel of this CD leaves me very impressed. Good solid melodic rock CD. I believe 'Not a day goes by' is a fave of mine.

Good one this, definately for fans of the debut Bon Jovi album and Surgin's 'When Midnight Comes',In other words top class 80's style US melodic rock. Top picks for me are 'Fighting The Good Fight', 'Not A Day Goes By' the Survivor'ish 'Promises' and the mighty 'Youngblood' with those all too familiar stabbing keyboard lines - oh heaven.

From: z4roxx Date: January 11, 2005 at 20:52
That's an incredible release!!Reminds me to Triumph's style,a must have in my opinion...

Great AOR/Melodic Hard Rock album, uno de esos discos raros y buenos que gran album de AOR y Hard Rock Melodico una combinacion muy buena, por ese nombre uno pensaria que no pasa nada con ellos pero la sorpresa que te llevaras cuando la tengas si tienes la bendicion de poder obtenerla Fighting the Good Fight, Hard Fall, Hit Where It Hurts, Right Before My Eyes, Promises, Youngblood... otro discazo que no puede faltar en toda coleccion de un adicto a estos estilos 9/10.

I agree with all here, because it`s really a very good collection of songs. Geoff is right about the band name, it`s suggest grunge music ( and the art work too ), but the truth is that we have here marvelous melodic rock, and like JEZ said, SURGIN-BON JOVI-SURVIVOR come to mind when you hear it.

From: darobinson Date: December 22, 2007 at 10:11
Don't let the name fool you. This is pretty good stuff. Promises is a kiler tune. Buy it if you like melodic rock.

From: headbanger4life Date: December 24, 2007 at 6:05
I too agree with all the above comments. This is a real nice find. I just think they picked a bad name, but don't let that fool you. This is some really good AOR. Definately reminds me of early Bon Jovi. I've seen this one for very cheap prices. I recommend picking it up before it gets hard to find or people learn what a good find this disc is. I was lucky enough to get the Japanese version with a bonus track. I would really like to know if they have any other releases.

From: BIG-TIME Date: May 26, 2009 at 6:57
I love this CD, voice is a bit wonky but it's good with the music. Harmonies are excellent pure 80's, can defo hear the Bon Jovi influences and a few others (can't think right now) defo pick it up if you want something you can acutally listen too...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

From: JOVIAOR Date: July 19, 2011 at 16:26
A really great AOR/MHR album with strong songs with great hooks, and the sound is as mentioned above early Bon Jovi mixed up with Survivor and the vocals is in places like Surgin. If u don't own it just get if u can really worth it and it's top 3 in 1997 in my book anyway!!
