Wow, loved this one - its still quite different from the first. Sounds a bit like Cry of love/Poorboys - the songwriting is excellent again. Oh, and the live version of Wind is awesome!! Get this one, you won't regret it ;-)

I'll be selling mine on ebay, this one is nothing at all like it's incredible predecessor! Brian Jack's raspy growl helped make Child's Play a great band. They should have changed the name here.

I don't see a huge jump from the 1st cd. It doesn't carry the sleaze of the first but there has always been some bluesy-ness to them. This is an excellent cd and worth the average ebay price. I just paid $60 for a copy the other day. Get it now before the price keeps getting worse Sadly, no more releases after this one.

Worth the ebay average of usd$35.00?! Worth usd$60.00 even?! Oh, I must beg to differ... though I would love to be that well off that I could part with money that easily for a CD like this. Don't get me wrong, this is a decent hard rock album, pretty much on par with a good hard rocking debut, but worth that kind of money? IMO, hell no! I am more than delighted with my CDR thanks!

That's the difference between you and I then. I had the cdr for about three years. It was time to get the original. Worth $60? Not to some people but I couldn't pass it up. The one before that on Ebay went for $85 so I feel I got a bargain!

I saw these guys @ The Channel in Boston on the 1st album tour. They sounded great & ended w/a cover of AC/DC's what's next to the Moon which was pretty bad-ass! I was drunk on Cisco @ the time & I was hanging out afterwards in the club & I asked the bass player what the fuck was up with them & Crysalis. He said 'whattaya mean'? and I'm like, 'they don't push you, your singles get NO radio airplay and this SHOW didn't even get promoted!' I had to seek them out to know what was up.. He looked @ m

Wow!!!! $60 I paid £2.50 for this about 4 months ago and I only bought it as I have the first album and sometimes I can be a bit of a completist Jerk! I've listened to it once but it didn't strike me as anything special and I prefer the first album....might have to give it a few more spins then decide if e-bay is calling me!!!

Child's Play was just a down and dirty rock'n'roll band from Baltimore. Straight ahead rock...thats all. This is actually the 3rd Child's Play release.. they had a tape called "Rough House" before they were signed. this particular release was not as raw as the "Rat Race" cd. many fans of the "Rat Race" cd don't get into this one. Myself, it's a good cd,above average playin' Tommy McRae's vocals are smooth, and somewhat polished.. Above average hard rock cd anyone want cdr trade, leave email here

Hey all you CP fans I have great news. The awsome Tommy McRae who is NOW known as T. LOVEJOY fronts a new band called "The Mosquito Bytes". The first CD is due out by June 2005 on Scratch IT records. I should know I am the drummer and co-writer. Early reservations for the CD's limited release can be secured at www.howardmayberry.com. Temporary site until the bands official web site goes live simultaneously with The Mosquito's multi-media promotional onslaught !
