great stuff from Beckett/Kipner. check out "castle on quicksand". nice mix of Westcoast/AOR here,(even the original "moonlight on water" witch is also to be found on one of LAURA BRANNIGAN`s cds.) absolutely wort checking out.

Cant believe there are not more comments here. This is BRILLIANT !! Anyone who likes Beckett's solo album or Planet 3 should give this a try."Dont Throw It Away" ,especially, is superb - but there are no bad tracks here. Get this before it becomes too hard to find !

IS THERE ANYTHING BAD THAT PETER BECKETT HAS PUT OUT? HE IS THE MOST UNDER-RATED ARTIST EVER. A MAN WITH A SOUL!!

This is magnificent. Hardly any different from the PLAYER stuff, but PLAYER didn't make an album as consistently good as the 2 Think Out Loud discs. If you love your westcoast as much as me then you need both these discs, but if you can't find/afford the 1st then this will be more readily available. It opens with the best track (one of the all-time westcoast songs IMO) but barely has a filler. Gloriously smooth westcoast with those soulful vocals and some amazing tunes. Do not miss this. 9/10.

AWESOME AOR WESTCOAST!!

Didn't think it was so rare,MTM??It's strange...BTW this is not bad,a pretty good aor with some good effort,is the debut better than this??

From: aorfan Date: March 15, 2008 at 9:57
Gr8 aor album, "Castles On Quicksand" is an aor gem.

This is far better than the debut which is well overrated. A really great AOR/Westcoast album this one. Recommended.

Absolutely awesome ! Actually I prefer this one to their debut. Everything else has been said already. BUY !!

I personally think Kevin Raleigh did a better version of Moonlight On Water. I really love Kevin's solo cd, he has such a strong, melodic voice. Sounds alot like this version with just a little extra "something" in the vocals department.
