A good, solid album that betters the debut I think. It improves with each listen and has some good tracks 'Blindsided' and 'You Little Liar' are my initial picks, but no real bad ones. Still very Lizzyesque in sound, which is a good thing, so old school classic rock fans should like this one

Completely agree with the Lizzyesque comment above. Warwick really has the inner Lynott vibe in him and BSR retains that patent Lizzy sound. All in all good things, IMO. This album takes a few listens to get into though.

The 2nd release from the Thin Lizzy-reincarnated band (under a new moniker). This is a great release, a little more diverse in song writing and music, however it is not a diversion from making a worth while listen. This 2nd release basically picks up right after their debut...more focused songs and lyrics. Thin Lizzy has always been Phil Lynott, but Black Star Riders is the Thin Lizzy of the 21st century...and stays true to the Lizzy sound and energy without stepping on the history of Lynotts legacy. HIGHLIGHT TRACKS: #1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12 MY RATING: 91/100
