Hey, this CD is really, REALLY good! "Lit up/Let down" is the debut album (after some EPs) for this new swedish band, actually in tour in the USA. I've bought the CD from their site and it's a great surprise: the boys play a pure 80's sleaze/glam metal, in the style of great bands like Faster Pussycat, L.A. Guns and Guns N' Roses (with an Aerosmith touch). Like other bands from Sweden, they know what rock'n'roll is all about, but they are more raw and less commercial than a band like Crashdiet.

Been looking for this one but can't find where to buy it from. Aparently on thier site (above) but I can't see where. Anyone...?

Great sleaze/glam album!! And "glam_junkie" if you are still looking for this album, you can also buy it on filthynote.com!

Absolutely amazing!!!! This is possibly my favorite band, no lie. It's so raw and in your face. Straight up sleaze! I didnt think it was possible in this day and age to have a band like this but ive been proven wrong! The whole album is good, no filler. Highlights include dont give a damn, hard to be vain, ceased emotions, get on the ride, and baby's got a secret. If you like Erotic Suicide, GN'R, Skid Row, Faster Pussycat, LA Guns, and all those sleaze bands, that you will LOVE this album!

Great album!!!! Raw and dirty, Vains Of Jenna made one of the best sleaze/glam albums of the year! With influences of GN'R, Faster Pussycat, Backyard Babies, Aerosmith, Glamour Punks etc...

From: Buitre Date: April 28, 2008 at 15:04
I found out about them on youtube and woaaaooo! I have to get this cd right NOW. A few more bands like them and maybe we would come closer to sleazy / glam again...F^** how I miss the 80's!

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: May 30, 2008 at 1:07
They spent too much time thinking up cute glam stage names and playing dress-up, and not enough on writing good songs.

From: z4roxx Date: June 1, 2008 at 11:14
Ahaha great?cool songs?Very poor and depressive glam, please don't mentioned Crashdiet or bands so,it's an offense...

From: rick kerch vzla Date: July 27, 2008 at 21:15
Average album...sorry...glam with a raunchy voice that some american bands did back in the 80's...it's like a cheap copy of Faster Pussycat. Not essential and nothing new is offered here.60/100

very good release by VAINS OF JENNA, so american hard rock sound.nice attitude, sleazy sound ,good songs is what we have here.listen to "dont give a damn","get on the ride" "baby s got a secret" and "set it off" great sleaze hard rock from these american swedish band.the guitarist looks like duff mc kagan too,ha,ha

From: Auslander Date: March 6, 2021 at 14:01
Noone's Gonna Do It For You is a great track. One of the best sleaze rock songs of the 2000s. The rest of the album is OK, but I think they needed a bit more time to gel. Looks like they couldn't stick around and hit their straps. But, that song will always be on my phone. 78/100.
